Chelsea will be front runners for Robert Lewandowski if he decides to leave Germany this summer, according to reports.
Lewandowski, the Poland forward, is said to be considering his future in the Bundesliga following exceptional spells with Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich .
Almost eight years in Germany’s top flight have brought a return of 171 league goals, and he feels he has achieved all he can in the country.
As reported by The Sun , Lewandowski is ‘flirting with the idea of playing in English football’, knowing he will targeted by all of the Premier League’s top six clubs.
And, according to the report, Chelsea will lead the race for the striker who has recently signed up with super-agent Pini Zahavi.
However, Manchester City , Manchester United and Liverpool are also known admirers, with the managers of the former and latter previously coaching Lewandowski – Jurgen Klopp at Dortmund, and Pep Guardiola at Bayern.
Lewandowski, who turns 30 later this year, will not come cheap, however. Bayern have no need to sell one of their prize assets, who has a contract that runs until the summer of 2021.
